The year 2007 marked CIT’s inception as an institution that promised to cater quality education to the young aspiring masses in the state of Karnataka. Over the years, our performance elevated and we started getting recognized at the national level. Students started migrating from different parts of the country and abroad to acquire education at an institute that enabled them to build a bridge to their future.

We feel responsible to cater education in the best possible format to the next generation of engineers for a better future, aligned with the sustainable development goals of the UN. CIT doesn’t compromise on the expertise, experience and qualifications of the faculty members in each department, many of them are engaged in PhD research projects. A lush green land spread over 16 acres with a vast culturally diverse environment; the CIT campus is a vision to behold.

While the education system still emphasizes on the age old ways of teaching and learning, we consistently aim to break the pattern. We abandoned the textbook method of teaching. Our classrooms blend theory and practical’s providing real life examples which improve concept clarity ensuring better application in real life scenarios. The students are expected to undertake real time challenges at the state of the art laboratories. Keeping pace with the technological advancements, we’ve set up an R&D center which promotes the emerging ideas of the students. They engage in mini and massive research projects at the lab which is additionally funded by a number of external agencies. Projects amounting up to 4 crore has been carried out at this exclusive platform for research.
