Cambridge Institute of Technology had the distinct honor of hosting the CORPS DES MINES: Learning Expedition – Innovation and Collaboration, welcoming an esteemed delegation from France for an enriching exchange of ideas focused on global education, emerging technologies, and industry-academia collaboration. The visiting delegation included distinguished leaders such as Mr. Amabile Arno, Deputy HR of Corps des Mines; Mr. Revol Marc, Head of AI Projects at Direction Générale des Entreprises, Ministry of Economy; Ms. Christie Chamber Deydier, Leadership and Business Alignment Learning Director at Thales; Mr. Sébastien Guérémy, Vice President – Digital Identity and Verification Solutions at Thales; Mr. Patrice Duboe, Executive Vice-President and CTO Aerospace & Defense, CTIO S/C Europe at Capgemini; and Mr. Francois Colonna, Director, Bangalore Engineering Competence Center, India. The visit marked a significant milestone in strengthening international engagement and fostering collaborative learning experiences at CIT.

The Learning Expedition provided a dynamic platform for discussions on innovation ecosystems, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, leadership development, and future workforce readiness. Interactive sessions enabled meaningful dialogue between the delegates, faculty members, and students, offering valuable insights into global industry practices, technology trends, and cross-cultural collaboration. A start up ecosystem is established at the Institute for students and faculty with mentoring, training and infrastructure support to inculcate the start up culture among the young minds. Students have ample opportunities to participate in sports and extra curricular activities. Technical competencies through various clubs at the Departments.
