CSE - Data Science Engineering

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) at Cambridge Institute of Technology (CIT), Bangalore, is committed to developing highly skilled professionals capable of transforming data into actionable insights. In today’s data-driven world, the demand for data science professionals is rapidly increasing, and CIT ensures that students are equipped with cutting-edge knowledge and practical expertise to meet global industry demands.

The program integrates core computer science principles with advanced data science techniques such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Big Data Analytics, Data Mining, and Data Visualization. The curriculum is carefully designed to provide a balance between theory and real-world applications, enabling students to analyze complex datasets and build intelligent solutions.

Students gain hands-on experience through modern laboratories, live projects, internships, workshops, and industry collaborations. With access to tools like Python, R, TensorFlow, Hadoop, and cloud computing platforms, students are trained to work on real-time industry problems.
