Involvement of eminent scientists, academicians and industry leaders across the globe as jury members and mentors has elevated the standards of innovation design contest.

  • SMART INDIA HACKATHON (SIH 2022)

The Cambridge Institute of Technology was chosen as the nodal centre to facilitate the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2022 software edition at the national level. A nationwide initiative by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell provided students a platform to solve pressing problems of the government, Industries and other organisations. The programme was centrally inaugurated by the Ministry of Education at ‘9am on August 25 and ended on August 26. Over 30 teams and 200 participants worked to solve seven problems put by the DRDO. Cash prizes for solving problems ranged from Rs.50000 to Rs.100000.

A start up ecosystem is established at the Institute for students and faculty with mentoring, training and infrastructure support to inculcate the start up culture among the young minds. Students have ample opportunities to participate in sports and extra curricular activities. Technical competencies through various clubs at the Departments. Our goal is to develop our students as technocrats who can contribute  to the society and build a sustainable eco system.
