- Grand Launch of CAMBRIAN SPARKZONE
The event was essential to formally launch Cambrian SparkZone, an Innovation & Incubation Platform designed to promote technology-driven entrepreneurship, research collaboration, and MSME innovation. Establishing such a platform is crucial to empower students, startups, faculty, researchers, and MSMEs by offering structured incubation, mentorship, prototyping facilities, IPR support, and access to national innovation schemes. This initiative provides an organized ecosystem that nurtures innovation, supports startup growth, and strengthens collaboration between academia and industry, thereby contributing to sustainable entrepreneurial development.
- MSME Idea Hackathon & SEEDBRAINS 4.0
This initiative was carried out under the MSME Innovation Scheme to align with its objective of identifying, nurturing, and supporting innovative ideas that have strong potential for commercialization. The scheme specifically focuses on addressing real-world challenges faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), making it an appropriate framework for encouraging practical, solution-oriented innovation and strengthening the MSME ecosystem.
- Inauguration of Cambrian Incubation Center (CIC)
The inauguration of Cambrian Incubation Center (CIC) marks the beginning of an exciting journey toward innovation-driven entrepreneurship. With active participation from MSMEs, industry leaders, and academic experts, CIC is set to become a hub for technological advancements, business incubation, and impactful collaborations.

Involvement of eminent scientists, academicians and industry leaders across the globe as jury members and mentors has elevated the standards of innovation design contest.

Involvement of eminent scientists, academicians and industry leaders across the globe as jury members and mentors has elevated the standards of innovation design contest.
SMART INDIA HACKATHON (SIH 2022)
The Cambridge Institute of Technology was chosen as the nodal centre to facilitate the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2022 software edition at the national level. A nationwide initiative by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell provided students a platform to solve pressing problems of the government, Industries and other organisations. The programme was centrally inaugurated by the Ministry of Education at ‘9am on August 25 and ended on August 26. Over 30 teams and 200 participants worked to solve seven problems put by the DRDO. Cash prizes for solving problems ranged from Rs.50000 to Rs.100000.
