Unveiling of Indigenous VLSI Chips at Cambridge Institute of Technology

Cambridge Institute of Technology marked a proud and memorable occasion with the special unveiling of indigenous VLSI chip designs and development projects as a surprise tribute to the Chairman, Shri D. K. Mohan Babu, on the occasion of his birthday. The event celebrated innovation, research excellence, and the institution’s growing contributions in the field of semiconductor technology and VLSI design.

The unveiling ceremony showcased the successful design and development of advanced semiconductor chips developed at CIT under the institution’s research and innovation initiatives. The projects highlighted included the Biopotential Amplifier & Quad ALU developed under C2S using SCL 180nm Technology, and the Display Driver Controller for GPR developed using 130nm Technology along with a dedicated test board.

The event was organized as a heartfelt surprise for Chairman Shri D. K. Mohan Babu in recognition of his visionary leadership, continuous encouragement towards research, and unwavering support for technological advancement at Cambridge Institute of Technology. The moment became even more special as the innovative chip designs were officially unveiled by him amidst applause and appreciation from faculty members, researchers, students, and invited guests.
