“Next-Gen Semiconductor Devices, Materials and Smart Computing Applications” (ICNGSMCA-2025)

Overview

Cambridge Institute of Technology (CIT) was established in 2007 under Umesh Education Trust. An autonomous institution at K.R. Puram is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University Belagavi, approved by the AICTE and accredited by NAAC with A+ grade, Four programs have been accredited by NBA. CIT is an Innovation ranked Institute and has received several awards. CIT offers nine UG programs and four PG Programs. The eight research centers are offering Ph.D. programs.

The full-fledged Cambrian Consultancy Centre for Industrial Research on campus, focuses on training students in niche areas and opportunities to work on sponsored and funded projects. About 50 L worth consultancy projects are executed by the institute in collaboration with industries and fortune 500 companies. 45 Cr sponsored and funded projects are being implemented at Advanced Research labs. Our Collaborations are with Samsung, Synopsys, EoS and many more.

The “zero waste campus” places strong emphasis on best practices of sustainability. CIT has “On Campus” Advanced labs/Centre of Excellence in collaboration with Industries. This facility provides students an opportunity to work on live projects. Thus, CIT prepares students to emerge as global citizens and leaders in their respective fields.

CIT conducts workshops, seminars, faculty development programs, conferences on regular basis as an opportunity to both students and faculty members for skill upgradation. The conferences are also planned to support research scholars and faculty to present their research work.

“Technical education is not learning of the facts, but the training of the Mind to think”

                                                                                                                      — Albert Einstein

Cambridge Institute of Technology focuses on imparting quality education to all. We provide an opportunity to all our students to develop the qualities of global professionals. An academic platform through standardized teaching learning processes assist the students towards achieving academic excellence. At Cambridge  Institute of Technology, the students are trained on emerging technologies through Industry collaborative programmes, Real time projects and Internship opportunities through Industry sponsored labs, participate in research activities in advanced research labs. A start up ecosystem is established at the Institute for students and faculty with mentoring, training and infrastructure support to inculcate the start up culture among the young minds. Students have ample opportunities to participate in sports and extra curricular activities. Technical competencies through various clubs at the Departments. Our goal is to develop our students as technocrats who can contribute  to the society and build a sustainable eco system.
