About the Department

Best/Top AI and ML Engineering Colleges In Bangalore, The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is a fairly new addition to the Cambridge Institute of Technology. With the boom in demand for artificial intelligence, reports suggest that the global Artificial Intelligence market size is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 42.2 per cent from 2020 to 2027. The primary reason for this is the increasing adoption of advanced technologies of AI and ML across industry verticals including healthcare, automotive, retail, finance and manufacturing.

The Department aligns its Vision to that of the overarching goal of the Cambridge Institute of Technology in preparing students for the industry by going beyond textbook knowledge. During the course, students are provided opportunities at experiential learning, industry visits to understand real-life work demands, etc. The Department, through its associations with the industry, also organizes special lectures, workshops and seminars on the latest technologies by industry experts.

With the growth in demand for such advanced technologies, the demand for skilled professionals is nothing but obvious.  Cambridge Institute of Technology, in line with the projection, has instituted the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in 2020. Our faculty, led by Dr. D. Antony Louis Piriyakumar, comprises experienced educators who have been a valuable part of the academia and the industry.

During their journey towards certification, our students are provided rigorous training in Machine Learning, Neural networks, Computer Vision, Evolutionary Computing, Natural Language Processing, Robotics, Expert Systems, etc. We provide hands-on training to our students coupled with industry exposure.
