The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Cambridge Institute of Technology offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes, affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka and Autonomous Scheme. These programmes are designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills and knowledge. Undergraduate Programme:

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering

The four-year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) program in Computer Science and Engineering admits 240 students and provides a strong foundation in fundamental and advanced computing concepts, including programming, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and software development. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning through well-equipped labs, real-world projects, industry internships, and collaborations with leading tech companies, ensuring students gain practical experience and industry readiness.

Postgraduate Programme:

 M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering

The specialized two-year program with an intake of 18 students is designed to enhance research, innovation, and technical expertise in advanced computing domains. This program provides students with opportunities for cutting-edge research, industry-linked projects, and hands-on experience in emerging technologies, preparing them for academic, research, and industry roles.

Doctoral Programme:

The Ph.D. program in Computer Science and Engineering is a research-intensive initiative aimed at enabling scholars to contribute to technological advancements and innovations. The department hosts a VTU-recognized research center, providing a dynamic environment for faculty and scholars to engage in high-impact research across domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Cybersecurity. This program fosters cutting-edge discoveries, industry collaborations, and academic excellence, preparing researchers for impactful careers in academia, industry, and innovation-driven fields.
