Jagruthi: Monthly Sustainability Awareness Program
“Jagruthi,” an initiative by the Center for Sustainability and Executive Education at Cambridge Institute of Technology (CIT), is a monthly sustainability-focused program designed to promote awareness, inspire action, and foster community engagement. This program is aligned with the United Nations’ sustainability calendar days, addressing critical global issues through a variety of events and activities.
Each month, “Jagruthi” will spotlight a specific sustainability theme and involve students, faculty, and staff in meaningful initiatives, such as donation drives, workshops, awareness campaigns, and practical community-focused projects. By integrating these activities into campus life, “Jagruthi” seeks to nurture a culture of sustainability while empowering students to lead positive change.
